Moscow-Produced Rusich is Advancing to the International Market
According to a message on the Rostec website, the corporation’s Tecmash Group is working on increasing the production of modern tillage machinery and the volume of civilian products exports. In particular, the group is intending to supply foreign markets with a new modification of the Rusich KPP-12 cultivator, developed by the specialists of the P.I. Snegirev Research Technological Institute.
It has been noted, that the upgraded Rusich is at least as good as its foreign counterparts, at the same being much more affordable. The first export shipments to Kazakhstan have already been made. Recently, P.I. Snegirev Research Technological Institute has developed several types of agricultural machinery and launched them into serial production.
According to Pavel Aksyukhin, Deputy General Director of Techmash, the decisive factors in improving the competitive ability of the group’s entire agricultural machinery line-up include innovative manufacturing technologies based on the experience with defense technologies, strict standards of the production process and the existence of a quality control system with interoperational control (civilian products undergo the same inspection as military products).
According to the Rostec state corporation’s strategy, the enterprises of the defense industry complex are to increase the share of civilian products among their production to 50 percent by 2025. As previously reported, the first Russian telescopic handler is notable for its versatility.
